SEPTEMBER 2016 - AIK MOH CHEMICALS (M) SDN BHD AND SOLVEX (M) SDN BHD TO BECOME AIK MOH SOLVEX (M) SDN BHD

We are pleased to announce that Aik Moh Group has acquired majority shares of Solvex (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.

Since its incorporation in 1995, Solvex (M) has emerged as a midsized distributor for petrochemicals in Malaysia. Currently Solvex (M) operates from a 30,000 sq. ft office/warehouse (with 2 drumming lines) with a staff of 10+.

Starting Sep 2016, we will merge the operations of Aik Moh Chemicals (M) and Solvex (M) of Malaysia to create a stronger, more focused and a single entity to serve and support our customers and suppliers in Malaysia. The single entity will be renamed as Aik Moh Solvex (M) Sdn Bhd.

The merger has come about in order to accelerate our ability to seize on industry growth opportunities and deliver continued market development and consistent, reliable operational services. We believe this strategic acquisition will make Aik Moh Solvex (M) even better positioned to navigate an evolving industry in Malaysia, ensuring continuity, and the overall longterm stability.
